Mulch Calculator
Enter the approximate length and width of the area you want to cover, then the desired depth (standard depth for mulch is 3"), then click Calculate. The calculator will tell you approximately how many cubic yards of mulch you'll need (based on typical coverage of 100 sq. ft./cubic yard, 3" deep).
Note: coverage will vary depending on the product. Example: large egg rock will cover less area than sand. Please see product listings actual coverage amounts. To calculate the amount needed for products with coverage other than 90 sq.ft./ton, use this formula: length x width / coverage.
